Description

This sweet and spicy mango snack is so easy to make and makes the perfect summertime snack. You can have it by the pool with a cool drink or just for a mid-week snack. 

Ingredients
  • 2 cups mangoes, cubed (half ripened)
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
Instructions
  1. Toss together in a large bowl, serve and enjoy!

Note
  • I like to use mangoes that are half ripened for a bit more sweetness but green mangoes work great too. They will be more tart.
  • I like to use a Caribbean-style hot sauce but you can substitute red pepper flakes, crushed fresh peppers, or any hot sauce you like.
  • You can refrigerate any leftovers.
  • You can add other garlic, black pepper, and other herbs like dill or green onions to make it your own.
